Other than Young, the Giants are winning this...
Interesting because I am a bit disappointed. I think they went with the same choice with Thomas.

Eagles have been wheeling and dealing today. They took one of their compensatory pick #(146) and did this...

146 became 164 and a 5th-rd. pick in 2021
164 became 173 and 227
173 and 227 became 196, 200 and 233

So … a single compensatory pick became four picks: 196, 200 and 233 this year plus a 5 in 2021.

Edit: Eagles turned picks No. 146 and No. 190 into…

No. 196
No. 200
No. 210
No. 233
A 2021 5th-round pick
AND WR Marquise Goodwin

Eagles also went from probably the slowest and weakest WR groups in 2019 to I'd guess the fastest for 2020...
Jalen Reagor: 4.47 40 time
Marquise Goodwin: 4.27 40 time
John Hightower: 4.43 40 time
And get a now healthy D.Jax back.

Goodwin trade is a low cost, low risk move. SF swapped 6th round picks. Plus his contract is guaranteed if it doesn't work out.

Eagles have a nice 4 X 100 team. I'd have Marquise Goodwin leadoff and hand to John Hightower, then Jalen Reagor, and have DeSean Jackson run the anchor.

Edit: They just added another speedy wideout, Quez Watkins (4.35).

I guess Howie figures he's terrible with the draft so that if he has more picks he's likely to get at least one or two right even if they're late in the draft. Then he can brag that he's adept at finding bargains late in the draft.

The Birds needed WR help. They could have had Justin Jefferson and Denzel Mims in the first and second rounds.

Well hopefully one or two of those will hit. I think Goodwin doesn't have much left tbh. Raegor looks like he can do damage out in the open field but I'm not sure what kind of WR he can be. Jackson may be the best deep threat in NFL history but he's fragile.

Agreed. Jefferson seemed like too easy of a pick at 21. And of course, they passed for Reagor.

I wanted Mims in the 2nd and he was there. But nope, let's go QB2.

Howie is great a trading picks and cap stuff. Drafting not so much. Joe Douglas took Mims.

The Clemson safety they drafted, K'von Wallace, is an interesting pick. He can play in the back or in the box and brings it. Like that pick. Also, roommates with B-Dawk's son for 2 years.

He’s safe, because he’s good.

Wills is a RT
Wills is going to be a G
Becton is going to eat his way out of the league.

the 2nd pick is a stud.

the 3rd is a likely future starter, but a storz guy so blah.

then we’ve been adding quality depth and STers.

fwiw: a lot of chatter theyre cutting Solder and going to make a run at Clowney. Not sure if it makes sense, I think there’s too much dead $$ witb Solder.

I'd like to see the Gmen sign Clowney. Then I'd like to see Lane Johnson and Brandon Brooks repeatedly chop block him. Nothin' personal. Just business.

Problem is u start out in the hole. Worst record in football over the last three years. Coaching may have been part of it but mostly it was an inferior roster. I think the OL was enhanced with Thomas and Peart but we'll see about the rest of it. The defense has been horrible for the last couple of years so we'll see how improved they are this upcoming season.

New defensive coordinator, tons of young players ready to come into their own, and probably added 4 new starters through free agency and the draft.

Cowboys hit it out of the park with their draft. Addressed most of their needs and got great value at each pick.

Every year is a new year. Let's see how it plays out. Probably the biggest weakness has been that the team has been inferior on both the OL and DL. Fix that and you're probably on your way.

The Jones boys are actually pretty good drafters. Choice of coaches leaves something to be desired.

This whole draft was OL and defense.

Last years DL showed promise - particularly against the run after acquiring Williams. Lawrence, Tomlinson, and Williams are all talented players. I think DL will become a strength.

You should YouTube Strahan’s retirement speach, it was awesome...and he invited Jon Runyon to it because they battled so much and hated each other.

good stuff.

And McCarthy was a horrible hire poke fans, he doesn’t know how to rebuild a team and barely kept a Ferrari running.

the NFC East is...

Absolutely nauseated by the Patriots selection of a three percenter. I’ve defended this team through thick and thin but this is way over my ethical line. You reach for a kicker off everyone’s draft board for a guy who has a known affiliation with the same far right group that was behind Charlottesville...you really are telling the world, and every one of your own fans with a moral compass, to go off.

I dont love these Rodgers rumors I’m hearing

If our WRs and TE can stay healthy... Starting to have some hope.

But you hung with them through Hernandez, et al. Check these Pats’ checkered pasts

He was only a rt because tua is a lefty. No reason he can't play lt in the NFL.

Everyone has a breaking point. And frankly every team has a list of players who committed crimes.

They are knowingly choosing to draft a player ...heck...reach for a player...who has aligned with a far right paramilitary organization that some would say crosses into white nationalism. I don't know the organization enough to split those hairs so I won't go that far, but that its even a distinction i need to make is a major problem for me.
