Agree mostly. It's chicken/egg though. The market for Cousins doesn't get ridiculously inflated if teams realized how easy he is to replace. There should be a market correction at some point when they wise up.
I was also saying RBs don't matter & stop punting 20yrs ago so the league is usually a good 15yrs behind.

Carr and Cousins are basically the same player.

WaPo ranked the Super Bowls in order how much great the QB matchup was. Their methodology has Brady/Mahomes as the third best ever. Brees/Manning in 2010 was the best. Grossman/Manning in 2007 was the worst.

It feels like their approach is a bit flawed. Peyton was a shell of himself in his final Super Bowl and they list it as 18th best all-time.

I imagine it’s because Cam was the MVP that year and Peyton was one of the best QBs of all time so they kinda checked two of the three boxes.

I'm honestly kind of stunned at how good the numbers are vs public opinion. The counting stats are real good, advanced stats are real good, qbr, pff, everything. Despite having tyrell williams and nelson agholor as his best wrs outside of Waller. He's top 5 at avoiding ints and was 2nd in game winning drives too. So think that kinda negates the idea that he makes mistakes to blow games too.

The Raiders D is so terrible it puts a ton of stress on the offense... it often leads to them being one dimensional ... making it easier to defend them
