I think it will be abundantly clear that Wentz is a better QB than Prescott.

I like Wentz, hes going to be a good qb, I just think Prescott is going to be better.

We'll see. Last year Wentz had the worst receiving corp in the NFL. This year will be improved quite a bit although nowhere near elite.

It always amazed me that NE was able to win a SB with Patrick Chung and Eric Rowe wandering around in their secondary. I watched those two in Philly and they were horrible. I guess coaching counts for a lot tho tonight their secondary is getting burned quite a bit.

Kansas City is playing well offensively.
New England is making uncharacteristic mistakes.

Give the Chiefs credit this is going down to the wire.

Chung was good for the Pats they use him properly.

Rowe was a 2nd year player. Who get better. He has talent

The secondary has been fine outside of Gilmore expecting safety help on the Hill TD.
The other long bomb was on a inexperienced LB defending a RB.

Well not the Patriots night.

Long season but man they need to get healthy.

Defense wasn't good.
Brady was off.
4th and 1 offense.

Oh well can't win them all.

A lot of KC receivers have been roaming free in the NE secondary tonight. No doubt the NE "D" will get coached up and play much better but I just don't think their defensive personnel is all that great.

Actually no they haven't.
Kansas City has abused the Patriots by dink and dunking all day long.

Then they hit a bomb because Gilmore made a bad read on his safety support.
Hunt got matched up on Marsh and abused a guy in coverage.

Kansas City has been taking the underneath all day long.

It's been a masterpiece by Smith.

Short lived undefeated season hype

Thats the worst I have ever seen a Pats D look. Glad I drafted them in multiple fantasy leagues. Brady also really misses Edelman, his completion % was way off.

Zero pass rush

Perfect season talk:

New England lost this game because Kansas City abused the NE LBs.

That is the weakness of the Patriots D.
David Harris is a corpse.
Kyle Van Noy isn't good in coverage.
Don't'a Hightower wasn't good and then got hurt.
Marsh has been on the roster 5 days.

Kansas City used their backs in passing game and Smith took the underneath.

They made one mistake in the secondary and the other bomb was a RB on LB.

New England will have to clean that up.
Kansas City is a bad matchup for them but they have holes.

KC did this to them 3 years ago on MNf.

Yep, for all the other issues, injuries, matchups, etc., give Smith credit, he was golden tonight. He stayed alive in the pocket, and hit three TD's with perfect passes. He was at his best after Hill cramped up, hitting the other receivers without dropping a stitch. Game ball.

You could be right, but to be honest, I thought KC's OL outplayed the Pats DL. There was inadequate pass pressure on Smith all night, and there were large gaps opened when KC ran its "search" package. KC's backs were running downhill past the LOS most of the night. Just IMHO.
