Wentz
Cousins

Alex Smith

Off the top of my head without thinking all these guys are better than Bradford.

I'd take a healthy Bradford over Wentz, Cousins, Prescott, Palmer, Stafford, Smith, and Flacco from that list. The only one that I'd really hesitate on from that list is Prescott.

Edit: For right now I mean. Obviously long-term I'd rather have one of the young guys.

Bree's has played 31 more games and has 146 more touchdowns and 4 more interceptions. The Saints are also the highest scoring team in the NFL since 2011. Facts.
You win some, you lose some...

Canton calls for both...

Alsacs dropped Eli on purpose, whose obviously better than most of them, but I'm ok with adding Wentz to the Eli's, Ryan's, newtons and Stafford's of the world.

He'd be at the bottom, but I like him over cousins, Flacco, palmer and smith.

And that's right now, obviously for the future as well.

Bradford is waaaaay down the list.

And as a former Rams fan who lives in Big 12 country, I've followed his entire career and watched every game he played as a Ram and most of the big games he played as a Sooner.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he win a Heisman while at OU?

His days with LA were marred by two bad injuries while also playing behind terrible OLs.

The guy needs time and a running game to be effective. Not unlike every other QB in the league not named Rogers. If he stays healthy he's going to have a big year. He sure as hell doesn't suck.

That would rank him 17th not high 20s like u said last night. Btw Carson Palmer is nothing special.

I'm focused on how they're playing right now. Manning has some great career accomplishments but he's no where near that player right now.

NFL.com doesn't have Bradford in their top 100 players in the league.
16 QBs are ranked.

QB Index: How do 'Top 100' QBs of 2017 stack up?

1. Brady
2. Rodgers
3. Brees
4. Rothlisberger
5. Ryan
6. Luck
7. Wilson
8. Carr
9. Rivers
10. Newton
11. Prescott
12. Stafford
13. Winston
14. Mariota
15. Cousins
16. Smith

I would put more QBs ahead of Bradford as well. Put Carson Palmer, Carson Wentz, Joe Flacco and you get 19th in the league.
I won't even use Eli as he sucks.

Note to Kaiser your QB who you think is a HOFer isn't even a top half QB now.

By saying I've followed his entire career since college, it means I've seen both the good and the bad. Obviously he was a great college QB and has talent. Obviously that doesn't always translate to NFL success.

He never played in LA. He's injury prone. Kellen Clemens - who isn't a good QB by any means - did just fine behind that same line.

Bradford doesn't just need time, he needs lots of time. He gets sacked quite a bit simply from holding onto the ball too long. BTW, the Saints don't generate much of a pass rush. They were near the bottom of the league in sacks last year.

LOL, he is not a top 10 QB.

I might take Eli over Bradford.
Bradford has never carried a team.
I rip on Eli but atleast he has done that.

Ha!!

This is that stupid made for tv list based on 'players' filling out a card.

Many of whom say they have their wives and kids do it for them.

Let's see where we are at the end of the year.

If Eli is 4000yds 30 TDs 10 wins and the playoffs you can rank him 1,000,000,000,000 for all I'll care.

10. Bradford
His career passing rating is 84.5.

That isn't good. He isn't a top 10 QB for a clear majority of the NFL but that is your opinion.

Eli Manning is a bottom half on the NFL starting QB.

He just is. He had 2 elite playoff runs.
Can we get an elite regular season from the guy if he wants to sniff the HOF. Just one all pro season. It can be even 3rd team all pro.

He made better decisions than Bradford and put the team in position to win more than Bradford.

No he didn't and no he didn't lol. Those Clemens games were horrific. They won in spite of him a couple times and that was it.

I understand that I'm in the minority. And there's probably a decent chance that I'll feel differently by the end of the year. I expect Jameis, Mariota, or Dak to jump in there. But for now, the QBs that I would say are competing with Bradford in that range are:

Dak - good rookie season, but it's still too early for me
Jameis - too inaccurate/turnover prone so far in his career. I do love him though.
Mariota - had a really good stretch last season against a slew of god awful defenses; I want to see him build on that, but he had a rough start to the season this week
Rivers - his arm just doesn't hold up over 16 games anymore. By the 2nd half of the season, he looks like he'd kill to have Chad Pennington's arm strength and he turns into a turnover machine.
Cousins - He's solid, but Bradford is more accurate both in the short and deep game
Stafford - Great arm, love his heart, but he misfires/forces it far too much still.

I don't think anyone else really warrants a discussion.

I enjoy watching/torturing myself by watching bad QBs who get a chance to start in the NFL lol. I'm always hoping to witness the next Tom Brady kinda situation unfolding.
