Honestly, I think they are spending more.hmmm...When did the NCAA get in the business of estimating NIL funds - and releasing that information to the public?
I don't question the information but I question the source's identification.
Yup. That's what they are willing to admitHonestly, I think they are spending more.
FootballLots of money went to do nothing for many teams.
Also is this for FB or all sports?
Football nil (estimated)what Did virginia spend so much money on?

Hello IRS
why would they be exempt? You are paying for a service rendered.Anyone know how these playments are classified to IRS? Are they exempt donations?
The university is tax exempt and I assume many of the collectives are too?why would they be exempt? You are paying for a service rendered.
Yea, what a dumb thing to report...some of my report is off i know, so it could all be off. I really have no clue. Just keep on clicking and read stuff thats not true.View attachment 247626
Then he says this so it leads me to believe the whole list is off .
So basically they pulled some numbers out of their asses after some boosters bragged to them.

So only 4 of these teams did better than Syracuse
Sounded like a lot of word salad.
You can’t write off ticket expenses. NIL monies are intended for individuals (players) who now have to claim it all as personal income. None of this is tax deductible. The university is tax exempt and I assume many of the collectives are too?
Correct most collectives are not non profits. A few like athletes who care are and those donations are deductible. SU football NIL is not.You can’t write off ticket expenses. However donations to the school are…and with revenue sharing, giving to the AD, which they may use to fund player salaries, will be. It’ll be helpful for schools where donors care about deductions. With big amounts, most do.
That number just seems woefully shy now. Didn't it get confirmed that UNC and Bama matched BYU for 5 million for one hoop player?granted the numbers are growing rapidly, but this past spring I was told the number was $5 to $8M for most top programs to assemble their rosters
