Whispers that are growing louder...and from Kevin White, AD Duke who is one of three on the ACC Network Committee feels very positive on the ACC Network for '16-'17 and BBall in NYC:

“Should we realize the objective in 2016, should we realize the channel objective, we’re going to be in an incredibly strong position for the next 15-20 years,” he said. “In my opinion, I think it will happen, and I think it will be wildly successful.”...from interview with David Teel

“And I think we’re kind of snuggling back up into the Burger King position with the grant of rights [the ACC’s 15 schools signed one in April] everybody’s renewed solidarity and our new market position. It’s amazing how quickly we’ve regained what had been our historic position. We were in a bit of a free fall, but we’re right back, and … I attribute all of it and more to John’s leadership."...interview from David Teel

Additionally, BBall in NYC is continuing to gain traction...from same interview:

“But at the same time, there’s a whole bunch of us that would love it, I don’t know how it all plays out, but I would like the ACC to have a very strong relationship with New York City. I’d be much less than honest if I didn’t say that. That’s the biggest media market in the world, great opportunity, and every one of our schools does LOTS of business up there, and I use that in the broadest context. … It’s right in the midst of our footprint, so to do something up there with some level of frequency is important.

What is important is this is same that I am hearing in the whisper...it is becoming louder and the naysayers may be surprised with what is in store for The ACC and Syracuse...and it is good, very good.
I will have more later...confirming the movement indicated above.

It's Good to be 'Cuse!! The Order of the 'Cuse Orange..

Those aren't really whispers when they're quotes from public statements...

I am glad he called the B1G McDonald's because I haven't eaten at a McDonald's since before college.
B1G-McDonald's, crap that is most recognized fastf ood place in the world, but anyone with a brain doesn't choose McDonald's if they are hungry. They go there if they have young kids and want them to get a toy with their meal.

SEC-Burger King. While I don't go Burger King often, I prefer infinitely over McDonald's and its okay, but not something I can eat if I am hungry.

Pac-12- In and Out. Its a West Coast thing only found their, but its good if you have it.

The ACC needs to be 5 Guys. Which is a great burger that is a little more expensive than BK, BUT its delicious and if your hungry and have a 5 guys burger your full after eating it

Unless you have a peanut allergy, in which case, it may kill you.

Why do SU fans now see fewer games on TV?

Yawn... There was no link provided to the original article. I've been around longer than you have E.Greenbush.
find that hard to believe, the list is very small and thought i knew most.

unless im missing something...just the ones not in the footprint or NYC demo.

I have seen the same (if not more) and have a nifty ACC app on my TV. It's nice for alumni to be located close to driveable games.

And the ACC is Chik-Fil-A except the ACC is open on Sundays.

Nah... back to the good ole' early days with Raoul Duke and others. We used to have fun during b'ball game chats. My moniker has changed several times, and I obviously rarely post, but I'm not a newb by any means... I was actually wondering if you could tell me what channel that game will be on Saturday, and if possible, the start time? ;)

You must miss all the threads bitching about games not being on.

I've seen them all..

I had to buy an AppleTV in order to start seeing all of the games. I only live 75 miles from NYC, so there's a lot of people outside of the NYC metro footprint who are having to go to alternative means to watch games (outside of watching on PC or tablet). I just don't think SU's exposure in the NY area is what it was in the Big East because SNY was more or a less a one-stop BE Network. Now people have to search each night for games.

no. i see them.

and i correctly assume that people are idiots and its on their tv or they are too cheap to get that channel.

all except for our friend in C-CT, who is likely being blocked by a higher power.

"go to alternative means to watch games"

That has been my life for 20+ years since satelittes first came out...I have spent so much time, money and effort (especially in the 90s) to watch SU play at Sports Bars.literally I would drive 15-30 mins by car to get to a sports bar. A nooner in California used to mean I could watch the 2nd half of the game if the sports bar guy would let me in early...then came the Dish/Directv era at my house and life got better and now it is the ESPN3/Apple TV era. It has gotten better for me...my apex of TV watching is your nadir.:)

hoop is in line so far.

but if im on e3 for conf games, then we will have a problem.

I, too, go back to to the days of listening to games on my car radio on the highest hill in town. I also had an FM antennae attached to my roof so I could pick up the SU station in NYC. I remember watching SU football replays on Channel 38 out of Boston on Sunday mornings. Craziest of all, though, was not being able to watch SU go for an unbeaten season in 1987 in football. That would be unheard of today.
