feel like keeping it somewhat close is going to mask what a debacle this was. Jackson breaking an all time NCAA record for yards. Major issues and injuries everywhere - coaching, defense, offense, special teams, injuries.

He's going to break a lot of records this year. I'm happy with the progress on offense. Defense just needs bodies.

exactly.

It. Is. Game. Two. This program slid backward terribly under Shafer and Dino is starting over with new philosophies and schemes which require particular kinds of players. The transition will be bumpy with some highs and many lows. People need to stop expecting a seamless transition. All the orangeglasses pollyanna types predicting immediate success are doing the fanbase a disservice. This is a process, but it is a worthwhile process. The payoff will be worth it.
