I would say 6.5-7.

We need more playmakers. We are going to have to rely on a lot of long drives. We need Estime to turn into Tavon Austin 2.0 and become a home run threat. You have to have playmakers to be a top 25, as well as being solid on the DL. I also think both our OC, and DC are still question marks. Where as I always felt we would win out in the game planning part of the game in the Marrone staff, I don't have that feeling yet with this staff. They may be the biggest question mark going into the season. This will just as big of a year for both Bullough and McDonald, as it will for any of the players.

I think we are still a class or 2 away from being a top 25 team with a chance to win EVERY game we play.

I think we're closer to an 8 than a 6. If we win our first 3 games in convincing fashion, we could very well receive votes in the Top 25 poll. Which would put us at a 9 by your metric.

Truly believe the playmakers will start to show this year - Morris II, Broyld, Estime, Ishmael, Custis. All 5 are Top 25 team talents. Hunt is the key. And I am very bullish on his ability.

Only monkey wrench would be the DL - but having seen what a Shafer defense can do with mediocre DT's in 2011, I am a firm believer that the D will be just fine this year.

We are average. That's a five. I don't know why we would throw out 24 teams it give us a better score.
