Hopefully in 20 years we’ll be back rolling for some time by then but we’ll look back at these last 7 years, in 20 years and be like What were some of these people thinking at Syracuse. Really some of these decisions between Hop, JB, the chancellor, Wildhack and Autry are truly incredible how many bad decisions, errors, mistakes, all in a row were made to get where we are now. Hop is included not so much as a mistake as him leaving. No guarantee he would have had success here but my point is the plan should have been executed from JB to Hop like it always should have. I’m not saying Hop would have killed it here but I think it would have been a bit easier for him to have success at Cuse than Washington. Just the familiarity with the program, his connections and recruiting in the area, maybe he could have had better assistant coaches. What we do know is that Hop is an ace recruiter and there would have been no talent drop off. He is a MUCH better coach than Autry so I don’t think the downfall would have been this bad with Hop if there was one
