One of the worst parts about being bad is

I'm not much of a college basketball fan anymore. It's just not the same sport I grew up loving. But that said, come conference tourney time and March madness, I still go all in.

With us not being in one for sure, and (gulp) probably not the other one, yeah, it becomes depressing to watch other games that time of year.

Glad the Washington Caps have been so dominant and our Lax team looks legit. It bridges the gap to MLB.

I have no desire to watch other games.
I’ve been able to spend more time with my family. I gave up on trying to convince my kids that college hoops was on strike to avoid telling them how embarrassing this is.

Will watch March Madness. But I’m a big nba fan.

I don’t really enjoy watching college basketball outside of MM and haven’t for a while unless it’s to see a prospect.

This is all outside Syracuse, or course.

Go Caps! Looking good! I've been watching most of their games (instead of CBB, except for some of Siena's games).

Alas just got word they are jacking seasons up again for next year. Might have to cut back to partial plan

I'm not surprised. I had seasons for almost 35 years when I lived up there. I think I paid $14 or $17 a game in 1982. On the first level. Now I watch on TV from afar. Sometimes go when they play the Panthers down here. I met Ted once. They invited me to sit in his suite once during the 30th year I had tickets. He was very unfriendly. But dinner downstairs in his private dining room after the 1st period was very good. Sat with Dick Patrick. But my seats were better than his suite and we went back to them for the 3rd period. I'm really enjoying Ovi's march to break The Great One's record. With at least 3 of us on here should we have an "Other Sports" thread on the Caps? I can post tweets of the videos of Ovi's goals which I send to a friend in Syracuse.

I’ll say this even with how bad hoops is I’m still not sure I’d trade the 10 wins for football for anything less than a final 4 in hoops. This season for football was just was awesome.

I also am going to make more of an effort for Lacrosse this year too maybe even hit a game.

Then football is right around the corner. Hurts losing our offensive weapons but keeping Nixon gives me some real hope that we will compete.

Even the Knicks actually have an entertaining team when the playoffs get here.

My watching habits have changed since the decline. Used to be tuned into the entire sport completely from November to April. Now it’s once college football season ends, I get into it.

Nil and absurd transfers and big schools automatically using smaller schools to poach there best players for a new starting 5 every year has ruined the college game. Good job

Is college bball as good as it once was? No. But there are still a lot of good teams and players that will make for a compelling postseason. You just have to look outside the ACC. I’m already looking forward to the first weekend of the big dance.

That being said, they have to find a way to fix the transfer rules (if that’s possible). I’m on board with these guys making money and having some flexibility to change schools. But these guys that are on 3+ schools is really making it hard to keep track of where players are and becoming familiar with these teams.

Knicks are enjoyable to watch. Brunson is Mr. Clutch. I didn‘t realize Towns was such a good player.

Great bunch of wings. Everybody defends, passes and can make a 3. Their roster is a couple players short, though.

We stink. The ruining of the game with players getting paid, transferring etc. doesn't bother anyone if we were good.

However, we can't be good in this environment.
