One good screen makes you have game? Stephen Hawking could bust out with one good screen a game.

Just saying ... give the kid a little room to learn the game. You can't teach 6'10.

How long do we give him until he is capable to play 15 minutes a game? I don't think it will happen. I don't ever remember seeing somebody this far away as a second year player.

I just don't see it, at least BMK could move like a cheetah down the floor and had some sort of court awareness. Chin look lost walking to the top of the key every offensive position trying to set a pick on anybody near him.

One great illegal screen. He showed good foot movement. May have a future as an offensive tackle if the hoops thing doesn't work out.

Kid has potential

Where do you see it? I'm curious, maybe I'm missing something.

I promise I'm not being sarcastic.

I'm lucky to catch any news or highlights on the 6 pm Sportscenter with Lindsay Czarniak hosting. She's my tv girlfriend.

He set the exact same screen on the play that Cooney got the layup.

Plus 3 rebounds. This isn't good enough for a benchwarmer??!!

For an elite school, no.

He took a charge against LV too, one of the fouls that put Blackshere out of the game.

If we celebrate somebody setting a moving pick and taking a charge then the player isn't probably that good.

Oh I noticed. I mentioned the great moving pick in the game thread.

He also cleared the way for Cooney's drive to the rim. So, that's 2 and counting.

[Sorry, I missed bees' note on the same play above.]

Have you already forgotten this gem of a quote?

"I'm not just saying this because we need to clear a spot for Thomas Bryant next year but to me BJ looks like he would be a better fit at a place like Iona or Manhattan.

At this level of competition he just doesn't cut it"

You need to learn some humility when it comes to posting. That quote about BJ now makes you look like you have zero idea what you are posting about and yet you have no problem moving on and zeroing in on the next player to eviscerate.

I just have to shake my head the type of posting that people like you and TBCuse do. You hammer players, you're wrong. You look like idiots yet you don't learn and you do it again.

Oh Lord

Don't write kids off so quickly.

Great post.

I never understood the negativity from some posters. I get it, not all players work out...but to say that Chino looked "lost" in a game on the road, against a top 10 team, with 5 minutes to go, with our All-ACC center on the bench...and we still won?

We might as well talk about how we won 4 vs. 5 then. Chino should have been picking up gum for Hopkins outside the Joyce Center rather than be in the game

Next time you try to quote me make sure you're quoting the right person. That's 2-3Zone not me.

Watch who you're calling an idiot.

You are absolutely correct. I apologize for that.

But your post is eerily similar...

Poster savages player without really giving player a chance, especially considering that this player has been rooted to the bench behind Rak...

And if Obokoh turns out to be a productive player over the course of his career then the same will apply to you...

Give these kids a chance to develop before you declare them to be lost causes...

If a player looks lost they look lost. The thing with Chin is that he is further behind than Billy Celuck ever was. Running up the floor Chin looks confused.

I'm not just saying this to say it but I see what I see and anybody else with an unbiased opinion would say that unless there is extreme foul trouble "like there was for the ND game" he's not going to see minutes.

Really?! No one?! Billy Celuck may have been this far away as a junior and senior and he got serious minutes!

He was required to run through the quad to LITERALLY practice running!
