I watched Javeion play basketball recently. My observations (I am not a football coach):

1) he is all of 6’4” and 290
2) he moves very well both forward and laterally. Very smooth athlete imo
3) he has broad shoulders and a large butt. Easy to see that he has the frame to put on weight.
4) he is not fat at all. No stomach rolls.
5) he is not very developed in his arms or his legs. He is only a junior so there is time, but I suspect he will need a year or two in a college S&C program before he can contribute.
6) he appears to be well liked and got along well with his team as well as fellow students after the game

i am optimistic that he can be an excellent college player. There will certainly be a push from the Florida schools to keep him home, I hope we can hold on like we did with Samuel, also from this area.

I’ll see him play again I’m sure. If I find any new info I will add it here.

latest news is the Javeion is no longer playing basketball. He didn’t seem in to it and the coaches got tired of his distraction.

the good news is that I saw him heading to the football weight room after school. That should be job 1 for him anyway.
