The roster does set up well for 2026. Whoever wins the QB battle will have a year under his belt, and all these Fran recruits will be 3rd year or 2nd year in the program.

Off thread, but is this actually right? Hard to tell from the conflicting links (pasted below), but it makes no sense that would we agree to (yet another) asymmetrical arrangement with ND. Unfortunately Cuse.com has us playing them home and home (2025/26) in one place and away both years in another place:
