So was this actually an upgrade for Perles? Did he get a significant of a bump in salary that made it worth it, or did he just not like recruiting?
I think this could be an upgrade for SU, all things being considered.
Not diminishing his work with the offensive line this past year - he did a nice job overall. But there's more to college coaching - and being a position coach in college, specifically - than just getting your position to play at a higher level. At least in my opinion there is.

It sounds like Perles was headed to Toronto and then OK St inquired and he may have interest but Ok St still searching/interviewing. Hopefully he doesn't lose out on Toronto opportunity if he ends up not getting OSU gig.
I think Perles did a real good job with the line. He had lost the left side and Foy and Robinson were green. He wasn't forced out.
