Maybe he's got a lot on his plate.

So you think it has not occurred to the AD that Dino is good and might warrant an extension?
That is my understanding based on reports on various sites.Isn't Dino's contract for 6 years already and not the typical 4?

The real crux is the staff compensation. When a local guy goes to a Big 10 peer for 3x the salary, and, you look across the sideline in conference games to see 2.5 x's the # of staff, that's a problem. My understanding is that's more important than anything.
I have no idea what "baducakky" means, but I am going to start using it regularly.Someone had posted previously that only clemson and maybe one other had a bigger staff. Don't know if true. But also isn't the larger staffs baducakky team managers and the like? I thought there was a limit (9?) as to on the field coaches.

There is a limit to coaches, support staff is different though... 9 paid "coaches" is right I believe as that's technically what we have. Payment gets creative for support staff and where they're employed.Someone had posted previously that only clemson and maybe one other had a bigger staff. Don't know if true. * was baducakky an autocorrect bees??? What are you googling man!
Oof, this is tough... gonna be a long year my friend.Watching the Giants play like crap, online with the phone and typing with a thumb. Lol.
What is he looking for in an extension? Do we know what the demand is? I feel like we made a gigantic commitment out of the gate. I want someone “in the know” to tell me where we are deficient w Dino right now.
We all love Dino. I also loved P in 1996 and don’t remember the hyperbolic demands for him to get extended.
We operate like victims too much bc of what Marrone did. I’m not going to lose sleep of what happens w Dino bc as I’ve said 100 times he’s either in or out and SUAD will figure out his needs not his demands
Wildhack was/is a poster on this very board, you realize that right...

Totally different time then 96. We are in an arms race era. I was told before the first game the university would up his contract and budget if he could bring in a top 35 class or made a bowl. What is he looking for in an extension? Typically those would get you a bonus.
Make the buyout really painful until DB about hits the big 60.6 year deal and he’s already two years in. So extend him, raise, staff raise and a short term big buyout.
Bees, did pasqualoni get such bonuses?
I feel like a 6 year deal was a ridiculous commitment by school.
I would think most coaches have incentive bonuses written into their contracts. But like Bees, I don't know specifically about P. It would be odd if he didn't.Bees, did pasqualoni get such bonuses?
