People wont want to hear it

I thought so against Ohio and Rutgers. Not sure about that now.
Regardless of Jones, Williams is gone. We can’t replace him.

Anybody that’s good will want to depart a ship that has a captain like him.

Apparently People here are not aware but yes G Williams is going to test the draft waters after this year

Edit. And others on D probably will as well

Dino lost me after Rutgers. By the same token, I have been pretty open in saying that we need to wait for the entire season to play out as it pertains to his future.

I think we have the pieces to get another 3 wins somehow. Whether we do it or not is another story but somebody wins occasionally the lottery; maybe it will be us.

Still, when the season is over, SU will have to look at his body of work, not what he MIGHT do next year. Number of winning seasons, number of bowls, record in the ACC, record vs P5 teams, record in recent years, etc. All the usual metrics that a P5 coach is judged upon.

Tucker is the only one we have to worry about being gone that would really move the needle on W’s and L’s, IMO.

Well, we have no secondary or D Line then we have no defense. I respect the hell out of you, but what on earth are you talking about. We won’t have ANY D-Line AND we’ll be without a decent secondary. We’re that quote from the beginning of Alien’s “ That’s it man! Game over MAN! Game over!”

Exactly what I was saying and another post. We win 10 games and everyone is calling for an extension and then this happens and now everyone's calling for his head.
People need to think rationally and not emotionally. The program overall just has too much to overcome! Especially when the school plays it safe or cheap!
. Basketball could see the same predicament in the coming years so these guys need to wake up! basketball is not going to be there forever to bring in the money automatically like it has been for so long. Very good basketball coaches do not come cheap either

We seem to have no problem replacing DBs year after year.

We’ll win or lose with offense. Defense is never going to be Alabama and win us games singlehandidly. We have a good DC. Feel like we can scrap together a mediocre defense.

We need a veteran star QB to be any good. That’s the difference maker that tilts things for us. See 2012 and 2018.

Money is only part of the matter. Changing coaches is hard on players and if they are doing well, it makes little sense. There is no doubt that this tea is playing well. A few plays in each of Rutgers, FSU and Wake and this team is 6-0.

Take a look at the big name teams and coaching changes they make and get little improvement.

Tennessee
Texas
TAMU
Michigan
USC (the real on. not Rutgers)
Nebraska
so many more

Look at the less than big name schools
Rutgers
UNC (and (Mack can recruit!)
Baylor
Miami
VATech
et all

Changing coaches is not as easy as many think, the hidden costs may be much more than anyone can reasonably calculate.

Dude. Our offense has been GARBAGE for three years. Whether we like it or not, we’re a defensive team. See, e.g., Alton Robinson, et al.

I'm confused are we in agreement here? I agree with some of the things you were saying of course I mean that's where I think a very good AD would come in. I mean that's his job.
you know they're not a dime a dozen obviously and soon enough we will know much more about our AD

Also yes of course, there's a bunch of different variables that come into play, it's not just that simple.
. I think a big part of it is just the fan bases and how crazy they are for these teams! The School & AD get so much pressure these days and they may rush a decision to fire somebody before they should in some cases..
