I'm not sure i even want this Deng kid anymore. So terribly inconsiderate of him, keeping us waiting. Some of us have actual jobs. Not me—but some of us, i'm sure. umm he could very likely be a starter for syracuse, imo

Yeah, he would be a nice add, but this not some five star or super transfer player who will change the trajectory of the program.

he played great against syracuse last year...i was very impressed...i think he could be a difference maker...and his strengths also fill some gaps in the roster...

Just to be clear - we know that normally the portal higher value guys move quickly.

No one is wanting him to hurry up against him doing what’s best for him just that time is money and others can be working to steal him and then the next option may not be as good.

To this end, it is possible that he is looking for a guarantee of either playing time or more money. The longer one waits, the greater a possibility that another portal individual becomes available that is more attractive to a team than Jerry Deng.

Raises a question on how many scholarship players that Syracuse will have this upcoming season that contribute. The roster is now at 10 with the addition of the four portal transfers already added. I can see the need for another big forward that can rebound and knows how to score. Deng is a big who can shoot but is not a rebounder.
