He shoots 38% from 3 for his career.
Same as ELITE 3 pt shooter, Chris Bell.
Only a better rebounder and defender.
Would be a homerun bench player/injury replacement
me too i think he def ends the year as a starter if he commitsI love this kid. It’s hard to stop him from the three point line. He has a very quick release and combine that with being 6’9” makes it very hard to stop him from getting shots off. He hurt us both times we played. It’s hard for bigs to get out to cover him. He will be a huge plus on defense just because of his size and length.
He and Kingz gives us two very talented kids that can play small forward. They provide flexibility to play two positions each.me too i think he def ends the year as a starter if he commits
Apart from maybe George, every player on the roster will have position flex. Looks to be part of the plan.He and Kingz gives us two very talented kids that can play small forward. They provide flexibility to play two positions each.
I find myself trying to imagine the behind the scenes stuff that must be going on before and during "portal season". It must be absolutly crazy.
It would be really cool if we had a billionaire booster who could tell the coaches "buy what ever you want."
FreemanA 6-11 version of this kid to be backup 5 would have been great too ( if such a player existed in the portal this year which appears not)
Freeman
We have money. And it can't be just one guy.I find myself trying to imagine the behind the scenes stuff that must be going on before and during "portal season". It must be absolutly crazy.

That’s what she said.We have money. And it can't be just one guy.
He would be a interesting guy. So would Watkins from FSU. I don't think Deng is a plan B though. We would take any of the three if they were to say yes right now. Just my opinion.Jerry Deng would be a great pickup but I think it’s Syracuse’s Plan B and the reason this hasn’t yet happened.
LeJuan Watts may be Plan A. There have been contact presumably (based on Alex Kline’s Instagram activity) and Syracuse has kept the portal interest mostly under the radar. To be fair, I have no inside information
The way this roster is constructed, Watts would be a home run pick up

Agree with the fact that we would take a commitment from any of those three right now but I do wonder with the obvious need for this type of player and the obvious connection (Melo fav player, Rochester, ACC), why we haven’t gotten that yet??He would be a interesting guy. Watts would start, I assume it would be a George, Starling, Kingz, Watts, Freeman starting lineup. To be honest, I think it would impact Kyle’s minutes more than White’s or Freeman’s or Kingz’s. Watts did average almost 7 boards a game last year and is a great passer so theoretically could fit multiple positions, especially if we want to go small ballWould love that.
But tough to see Watts wanting to come here with Freeman / White in the fold. All three play the same position, and Watts isn't going anywhere to sit.

Watts is listed as a guard on WSU roster.Would love that.

If so, that's certainly wildly mislabeled.Watts is listed as a guard on WSU roster.
He’s listed as a forward here but at 6’6” he’d be a small forward. If so, that's certainly wildly mislabeled.
He's got versatility, but let's be honest -- he's closer to being a power forward than he is a guard.
Take this guy in a split second. Shot the 3 ball well too. He’s listed as a forward here but at 6’6” he’d be a small forward.
