UNC lost Cadeau, Davis, Trimble and Ian Jackson from their backcourt . They have 2 freshman SGs coming in next year (both 4 stars). They got the CSU kid but he only averaged 11ppg/3apg last year.

Plenty of playing time for Lewis

So glad that we are in a situation where we are not on pins and needles hoping that a freshman point guard can come to our rescue! Would have been interesting if he was already in the fold, whether we would have pursued a portal PG. Glad with how it worked out!

I always felt that comment was taken out of context. He said you aren't replacing someone like Kadary with a freshman. I never thought he meant he would never recruit freshman. Just you can't replace fifth year guys with freshman and expect to be competitive.
