Wow. His first step and his ability to get his defender to bite on his fakes are really impressive without being flashy. Old school but gets it done effortlessly. He is just what we need.
kid is filthy, tee!!About that mid-range game in this video. Wow. What great body control and notice how he gets squared to the basket every single time he gets bodied or put out of position. Impressive.
If he doesn’t end up at least top 50 in every ranking, it would be shocking. I would have him top 35.Still don’t know why he isn’t rated higher.

Yup. From the couple games I watched, the action has slowed to slo-mo for him.He is 34 or so in ESPN. Honestly I think he is legit top 20. His skillset is diverse and very mature for such a young player. Great patience and control.
Permission granted. Are we allowed to be excited about Mintz? Is he ranked high enough?
He's only "barely" inside the top 80 according to one recruiting service. I'm sad. (jk, Mintz is the real deal). I honestly think he should be inside the top 50 via all recruiting services, if not the top 25/30.Are we allowed to be excited about Mintz? Is he ranked high enough?
CG listing hurts the ranking, but I don’t believe there are many guards better in this class.Still don’t know why he isn’t rated higher.
Reminds me a little bit of Chris Paul the more I see him. Lots of similar movements. Obviously a long way to go to be a hofer. He is so not a Pittsburgh player. What was he thinking?!
He’s going to be a lot of fun to watch. He operates like he’s got one of those embedded attack computers, like The Terminator.
I‘m mixy, between wanting him to get bigger/stronger, versus wanting him to just rip around and break ankles like Iverson.
I don't want to start a new Dior thread. His old ones are locked. But, I just wanted to share this clip from a recent interview with Matt Barnes...
The super class that we thought we were making headed by Dior and friends would have been fun, but it didn't happen. I am glad we ended up with Judah (and friends) in the end.
