Not availableBut what if he takes formula?
But what if he takes formula?
They need to be able to hit jumpers: or be able to switch and guard on the perimeter: or be elite at protecting the rim.In todays NBA, bigs need to be able to make jump shots. Jessie has not proved he can make anything but a layup.
He has a great pace to his game. He seems able to get anywhere on the court he wants. I hope that carries over to this level of basketball. I think it will, because some guys just have that skill. This kid has what it takes to be great -- talent, tools, AND work ethic.
He's going to kill it here. Love this kid's feel for the game. Can't think of a comparable player, in terms of style, that we've ever had.
just feels like he's ready for the brightest lights, too - kind of similar to the last great freshman G we had - we'll find for sure soon enough though! This kid has what it takes to be great -- talent, tools, AND work ethic.

Mintz is the kind of kid that goes to Duke that is an elite talent, with an awesome family that is dedicated and hard working that we only hate because of the uniform but would love in Orange.
Yeah, we really, really lucked out swinging him here.
The non-SU guy I keep thinking of is Monta Ellis. Dynamic scorer, slighter frame. Can't think of a comparable player, in terms of style, that we've ever had.

The great pace aspect to his game sounds like Tyler Ennis and maybe a little Edelin (obviously with a better outside shot). He has a great pace to his game. Lawrence Moten was another great “pace to his game” guy.The great pace aspect to his game sounds like Tyler Ennis and maybe a little Edelin (obviously with a better outside shot).
This player is an Oak Hill starter as a guard, Smith sends them to college ready to play.Yeah his game isn't Tyler Ennis but as far as the part about ready to roll... I'd say good comparison.

That's why they have always played the best teams.
They are going to miss him as a coach.
