Dear Football Gods please give me the strength to not watch this game
I’m going out to some holiday markets with my wife this afternoon and some dinner. I won’t check the score until we get to the restaurant

The field looks surprisingly good.
I think the turf will be fine. Playing a game on grass in earlier November than late December (like last year) in the Northeast makes a big difference. The roots are still fairly strong and haven't been affected by a freeze yet. I don't think we'll see all the slipping, slickness and torn up turf like the Pinstripe Bowl last year.

I am just excited to commemorate one of the most significant college football games in history.
I may be mistaken but isn't there a photo somewhere of Babe Ruth at the '23 game?

I don’t know, but according to my great grandfather’s journal, Pete MacRae was the Babe Ruth of college football that day.

As always, I remain ever hopeful of a victory, but consumed only dry toast for breakfast in case I get sick during the game. Go Orange!
