He got an extension after a 10-3 season. That was a fine and right decision. The buy out is expensive and he did enough last year to make a firing not worth it. Idk what people want him to do. Why would you pay him 6M+ to walk away when he got you to a bowl game. Why pay him anything more than you have to now.

If money stands in the way of our standards we don’t deserve a D1 football program. Just pack it in and shut it down.

What do you want the standards to be? 1-10 to 5-7 to 7-6 is progress, no? He’s having a bad year so you make a change. But before now you had no reason to make a change if JW felt 2020 was a fluke.
