Moved up in 6 spots in FPI and in Sagarin significantly. Massey composite is currently 16.

It shows that we actually gained respect for playing Clemson tough on the road. If we'd gone in there and gotten blown out, we would have dropped like a stone.

Dropping only two spots means that the voters were impressed with our performance, despite the outcome.

I think we should have maintained our spot or even climbed, given how well we performed at Death Valley. Obviously the polls don’t agree!

I always liked the fact that Sagarin had FCS teams too. But his ratings look really off. How is UCF ahead of us with their 5-2 record against the 106th ranked schedule when we are 6-1 against the 55th schedule? Oh and they lost to a team that we beat up a week earlier. And have a blowout loss to #58 ECU. They have zero Top 60 Ws and ONE Top 90 W.

UCF has played 2 road games. It makes zero sense that they are Top 50. And it makes little sense that we are not Top 25.

But we didn't perform well. We committed a ridiculous amount of penalties. Some very untimely, and ultimately costly.
So no...we didn't perform well. We could have played much cleaner, and won the game.

Second half, maybe you’re right. But the first half was excellent!

We shouldn’t have slipped at all but at least it was only two spots. Not scoring in the second half at all probably hurt a bit. Can’t wait til we beat Wake.

a lot of computer ratings are crap, the ESPN FPI has us 40th. they have Iowa 35th. anyone who has seen Iowa play would think they should be 135th
