I also know that LSU isn't the only SEC school that SU has been talking to.

With ND this year and 2016 Id like to have an SEC team in a year where we are not already playing ND. No issue playing an ACC team but I hope were realistic in who were scheduling. No need to start making deals with LSU, Auburn, Florida etc. LSU and maybe a lower tier SEC team ie Vandy, Ark, Miss St would be a better fit for Syracuse.

Since they're not technically in the B1G yet, they'll probably let existing scheduled games slide.

Every B1G team will be playing a FCS now that Rutgers is in the conference.

Expanded conference schedule plus the fact that games vs. FCS teams are less attractive for the viewing audience and ratings numbers.
