I was thinking about Dick the other day, and recalled a moment when he helped me out.

I was about 19 and had just transferred into SU. At the time I was thinking about getting into journalism. Dick had done a couple stories about my mom's struggles with a local small town zoning board. Instead of just using her for the story, he stayed in regular contact.

She gave him a call. A short while later we had a long chat over dogs in Clinton Square. He gave me a lot of advice, and some contacts. This led to an interview.

He is a good man.

Mike Greenlar is the same way. How did he fare in this unfortunate mess?
