Preparing for NC State, What Do We Know?

What's peculiar about it? I've watched both teams play. Syracuse has its problems, but NC State isn't this team that should be putting fear in the board. Does this board watch other teams outside of Syracuse? This is an honest question because I see these posts way too often especially on the basketball side.
Yup watched the best team in the country last night demolish Nebraska and guys on this board put Maryland in the same sentence as as them after they destroyed us

I guess because, in my opinion, from what we've seen of SU to date, I think this team is capable of losing any of its remaining games. So, I think it's fair and reasonable for SU fans being quite cautious of anyone, especially games that are on the road. For me, it's not so much of what have other teams done, or identifying their weaknesses, etc., just more focused on the Orange.

That being said, just as easy as I can see SU potentially losing to anyone left on their schedule, I also feel, if they play and execute well (along with the apparent general weakness of the ACC) that they could conceivably beat anyone that's left.

Our WR’s havent proven to be a strength vs much weaker secondaries than NC State’s.

I think our whole offense depends on forcing the linebackers to respect the run.

They are similar to WMU/MD in the secondary. T.Jackson is off to the 2nd best start at WR in the Baber/Shafer era.

sometimes weird narratives take hold

Jackson has been outstanding.

Harris has been up and down, but overall ok.

Everyone else has been a complete non factor.

Jackson’s played well. We often feature more than 1 receiver on the field though. This isn’t a weird narrative, Johnson/Harris/Riley all struggle vs physical coverage getting open.

That’s exactly what I’m getting at. Some haters gonna hate.

To be fair your reputation is well earned so even if you say something that might not be intended as a slam, it will be interpreted that way. What I am saying is you have not earned the benefit of the doubt. But I do understand what you were saying and you didn’t deserve to get hammered this time

ESPN predictor now projects us at 4-8. Only wildcard would be personnel adjustments or better health on both lines.

The predictor had us losing to WMU. No question this team can go 4-8 if things don’t improve on the OL and with dumb penalties and turnovers however

Harris disappears way too easily. And some of his most memorable plays this season have been bad drops.

It's frustrating. Seemed like a guy that was going to make a jump but just hasn't looked like it yet.

Our OL stinks. We will have a ton of trouble scoring against any team with an above average DL. That makes it hard to get optimistic. We’re just so limited in what we can do, with that OL.

Agree. Usually I'm so stressed about winning the game that I'm more focused about the result of each play and it's hard for me to focus on individual things. Obviously I wasn't worried about winning yesterday so I tried to watch the OL and it was pretty ugly.

It's like when we lose a basketball game and our fans say we don't deserve to make the tournament.

Ok. So who else you putting in then, and why?

Probably because MD was a play away from beating them last season.

4th down late don't reach for the end zone ala dee brown.

Why should the name of the poster factor into any interpretation? I certainly don’t have the time for that when I’m reading. This place isn’t much better than high school in certain respects. It is what it is.

They're only weird narratives when you don't agree with them.

You're starting to pull out the same material from the Shafer time period.

The word “may” is doing a lot of heavy lifting here.

I don’t see how anyone watching us plus the teams on our schedule can say this with any assurance at all.

Yes, we got rocked by Maryland. BC lost to Kansas. NC State appears to not have a QB and lost to WVU. Pitt almost lost to Delaware yesterday. Wake squeezed by Utah State and have a suspect secondary. Duke might be good?

Wait.. I thought you hated transitive property, or at least you did two weeks ago. I guess you only dislike it when it doesn't fit your opinion.
