I think his accuracy and timing look questionable. Glad we picked him up. But personally I think he looks like a 3rd stringer. I hope we get another that can be a second stringer competing for the 1 spot.

Those were highlights. Collins could easily put together a film that looked like that with a full season of work. Now he does have encouraging stats, but those were obviously playing mostly against lower competition. But that does give me some hope. I’m just saying I don’t feel like the highlights made me feel like he could compete for a starting spot. Hey I hope I’m wrong and has a McCord type of impact.

Agreed. But I think there’s a good chance Fran says you can compete to be #1 or 2 and both are guaranteed to get in game reps.

I think he learned from last year and will adapt to ensure it doesn’t happen again

There are roughly 20 or so passes in that video - ALL completions, most for six - so I'm curious where u see questionable looking accuracy and timing? I see a cannon for an arm and a proficiency on the deep ball.
