Seems like he’s better than anyone on our current roster that doesn’t have an Achilles injury

If we can somehow get him and Odom that would be a dream QB room - both could compete for the QB1 spot the year after. 1 or the other feels most likely though, doubt either wants to be QB3 for a full year. Prefer both these guys to Stokes though.

Yeah no way one of them would be willing to be QB3. I like them both better than Stokes as well

Yup those are good traits for someone to come in and learn and push our current QB room. Accuracy is very important something our backups this year didn't have.

It is easy to chase, sometimes hard to catch...

And given we're a team with an established QB1, without an unlimited NIL war chest, and several positional needs, beggars can't be choosers.

That’s why I liked him as a backup. I also thought height would scare off others and he knows several of the Miami northwestern guys. We’re getting some good visits from other guys who can fit the mold of what we need. It’s hard to recruit for backups.

This guy didn't start or play in the first 3 games, all losses.

He took over in game 4 and put those video game numbers up in just 9 games. They went 7-2. In one of the losses they scored 47 points, he threw for 551 yards and 7 TDs, lol. In the other, he only threw for 426 and 2 TDs and rushed for 48 yards. And they only scored 35 points.
