It means nothing to them.
I take it you guys aren't big Tyus Battle fans considering he went back on his verbal to Michigan & all? You also have no interest in flipping Amie because he would've "cried wolf"? It's a kid changing his mind, weighing his options, & trying to make the best decision for his future. It will catch up to him some day if you're right.
Despite the Texas involvement I dont see much reason to worry at the moment. Remember you must qualify before you sign. Will keep an eye on Jordan but still believe he’s orange.
Early Signing periodIs this true? How do you qualify before you graduate? I am a bit ignorant on the rule so if someone could explain. Or does it just mean qualifying act or sat score?
Syracuse, N.Y. -- Class of 2018 running back Jawhar Jordan isn't signing a national letter of intent during the early signing period, but remains "1,000 percent" committed to Syracuse football, he said on Wednesday.
L O V E this kid. Hope we get some good news come February.February signee. Not worried. Provided he does what he needs to do academically.
I'd prefer he be 1,000 percent committed enough to sign, but at least it still sounds positive.
He literally can't sign right now. If he could he would. The new rules involved with this early signing period make it so kids have to be qualified or teams risk losing a spot in their 25 limit if he doesn't. He has some school work to focus on.

No. Looks like the next one isn't until 2/10/18.Are there any opportunities to take SAT ACT (and get scores back) between now and next signing period?
It may not be a SAT or ACT test score. Could be work in the classroom. Are there any opportunities to take SAT ACT (and get scores back) between now and next signing period?
After his semester grades come in and he's super close, one wonders if DB will hold open a spot.No. Looks like the next one isn't until 2/10/18.
If he's close, we should take him. I think we should take him now and not take a chance someone else comes in. With all our transfers, we can afford 1 spot. After his semester grades come in and he's super close, one wonders if DB will hold open a spot.
I would wait. There is a second signing period in less than two months. If he isn't qualified no one is going to take him. Sounds like he is still committed to SU. I would think so. I doubt any school expects all of their commits to sign during the early period. With a potential impact player like JJ, it doesn't make sense to cut him loose after recruiting him for this long. After his semester grades come in and he's super close, one wonders if DB will hold open a spot.
Actually I meant - under a scenario where he's really close after semester grades come in and he takes the next test on 2/10/18 -would Dino hold a spot open hoping he gets the little boost he needs to his score?I would think so. I would think it would depend on how close he is and what other irons Dino has in the fire. I'm sure the staff will watch his situation closely.Actually I meant - under a scenario where he's really close after semester grades come in and he takes the next test on 2/10/18 -would Dino hold a spot open hoping he gets the little boost he needs to his score?
