He took money from the dc assault program in the past couple days and while in hs

I wonder what the reaction would be from the media if one of our guys had that happen

We caught a big break with him being out and another when McGruder got hurt. Helped even things out with the loss of Melo, but also helped us win.

For sure, his replacement boarded well but was a mess shooting and making quick decisions

It is kind of sad, actually. These kids are often broke, even with their scholarships.

I agree, the coaches quote about hiding it cracks me up, obviously has had years of practice by the sounds of it

What I think is inetersting is Dalonte Hill (ex-assistant coach at KSU and current assistant at Maryland) is also an ex-coach for DC Assault. He was the one that allegedly had Beasley and others go to K$U. KSU gave him a large sum of money to stay on as an assistant but he still moved on to Maryland. Follow the money NCAA and got off SU's arse!!

Dc assault is as dirty as it gets, maryland under armour and all the ties to that aau program will bite them in the ass sooner rather than ater

Fact, curtis malone admitted it and said "if i knew it was wrong i wouldve hid it" lol

that is not at all what he said. he said he wasn't trying to hide it..and the guy needed money for food. i find it hard to believe a player on a college bball was hungry for food. i have several friends on the Michigan football team when i was in school and they had food whenever they wanted...they just had to go to the athletic center.

No wonder the Maryland athletic department is so far in the red

He wasnt trying o hide it i know that, he admitted that...but him saying if i wanted to hide it i would have done it differently sounds like hes well versed in doing so...

How could he NOT know sending him money was fine. is he related to him? where do you draw the line..lets say your AAU coach is your dad. can he not send you money?

I call BS. The kids get per diem on the road.

I'm sure the school is paying for 3 meals a day. They make it sound like he has no other way to eat. Seems weird.

Most kids don't eat breakfast in college. I know I rarely did but I used my breakfast credits for late night at the Union. Great to get those late night burgers or pizza. I am sorry I call two letters on this!! BS!

Craig Forth routinely swiped his card and then told them to use it to pay for the next several kids in line. My point? Athletes are given maxed out meal cards, they don't even come close to going hungry.

Kris Joseph played for DC Assault. Based on how this season has gone. Expect KJo to be ruled ineligible in 3... 2... 1...

As much as I like Kris, I think that's one of the few players we could actually afford to lose for a game and be ok.

That said...
