1. Our linebackers (freshmen through seniors) are hard-nosed as hell, I think this may be the year where opposing offenses begin to think twice before attacking the middle of the field.

Hodge, Bennet, Franklin, Thomas, Moskal, Henderson Jr., Shy and Taylor will take our defense to the next level.

Next poster posts #2...etc.

Or maybe things aren't all that optimistic and we stop at "1." :(

11. Defensive backfield plays better than expected. Morgan and Whigham have shown they can play well when they stay healthy and they'll show progress this year. Scissum surprises, Blair will qualify and hopefully get consideration as all-ACC frosh player!

Home run threats at RB every time they touch the ball - McFarland, Morris, Strickland.

Big, tall, athletic WR's who should be ready to contribute.

One more year of Trudo jawing at the opposing DL.

Trick plays! Think Lester likes to mix in some gimmickry.

Agree with your first 3, but trick plays make me nervous. If we are resorting to trick plays (as we did, I would argue, far too often last year once Lester took over) it shows that we are not confident in moving the ball down the field with our normal offense.

If your calling the jet sweep a trick play ......then maybe but I do not remember a bunch of trick plays last year, but Im getting old, maybe my memory is fading.
