ah the old back-channel early-contact immediate midnight commit. love to see it
Merrill and Drago, uphill climb for both though. Gonna be a fascinating class.
I would also keep an eye on the Prime Time kids (Chris Iuliano, Cam Kelly, Aidan Diaz-Matos, Brady Scioletti, Miguel Iglesias, Matt Giannetti and Russ Fitzgerald). Syracuse Alum Chris Daniello is the head coach of the '25s, and Payton Anderson is a product of that club team. No inside scoop or anything, just strictly looking at connections.

Likely going to be at least a few days, remember since the start of the 9/1 date it usually takes a week + before things really ramp up. Most players want to do visits speak with coaches consider options etc.
Last year IL ran an event with 4 of the big time club teams where it appears they asked those kids to go on their profiles and list their top schools. I think all 4 clubs had almost every player with a list on their IL recruiting page. I believe they ran the event again (The Countdown) but it doesn't look like they had the same drive to make those kids fill that out. Also, a lot was made last year about the "Interested Players" section of the IL Database. It doesn't seem like a lot of kids are listing their preferences this year. I've seen a few three star recruits list schools like Duke, Notre Dame and UNC but I don't think many, if any, of the top 50 kids have done so.
Can't wait to hear how much he squats every game by Carc.
Process?
5*?Don't want to get ahead of myself but heard SU has least 1 verbal and is involved with multiple high end recruits. Lots of big time battles right now, expect some of the 5 stars to take their time in committing.
Ive seen a couple of instagram post with Drago.. with Duke gear on.. from the looks of it he was there visiting there this weekend
