Any of those Cornell commits doing a post grade year? Two names I’ve had my eye on have committed elsewhere:
Anthony Rodriguez, A, Loomis Chaffe - Georgetown
And
Finley Watson, A, Salisbury - Ohio State
Again this is based totally on geography, not much else. Haven’t even watched their highlight tapes so this is pure armchair recruiting.
Lots of kids committed today, quick roundup
Matt McKane, G, Marin Academy- Notre Dame
Eli Friedman, /O, Belmont Hill - Cornell
Matt Swartz, M, Wyoming Seminary (PA) - Cornell
Andrew Gryzenia, LSM, Detroit Country Day - Notre Dame
Quinn Ball, /O, Chaminade - Penn
Matty Mason, A, Milton Academy - Georgetown
John Rodehorst, LSM, LaSalle - Cornell
I think Cornell has a full class by now.

Duck Fuke - just switch the D sndmeans cornell is probably not in play for many if any 5 stars. so they are loading up on lower end 4 stars
duke doesnt have a single commit yet and the vast majority of 5 stars are still out there. that should terrify people

Doesn’t Syracuse have two? Bartlow and Kittleberger being the second. Or is that not confirmed?Smart strategy by Cornell. Spot a market inefficiency and take advantage of it. Wonder if some other teams will regret not taking a similar approach.
I'm sure Duke will have another really good recruiting class, that said there are a bunch of really good teams that don't have a ton of recruits verbaled yet - UVA, UNC and Princeton only have two, Hopkins, Syracuse and Maryland only have one so far. Lots of teams have plenty of space right now.
One thing about Duke, they will most certainly be out for attackmen, they only have one committed in the last two recruiting cycles. I have to imagine Brendan Millon will be UVA bound (and given his brother's history with Duke I'd say that's out of the running), so should be interesting who they target.

Don't tell BjornKittleberger is not confirmed
There are like 15 names from the top 50 off the board if even that many. So incredibly early. We are fine. Too early for this type of talk.Unless Gait and staff are gonna pull a rabbit out of their hat and get a bunch of the uncommitted 5 stars, this recruiting cycle has gotten off to a disastrous start.
Losing almost all of the local talent. Very quiet overall. Two unranked commits, not to say they cannot be good, but it is what it is.
There is a lot of time before the Class of 2025 signs but it seems we aren’t off to a good start.Unless Gait and staff are gonna pull a rabbit out of their hat and get a bunch of the uncommitted 5 stars, this recruiting cycle has gotten off to a disastrous start.

Have to keep some expectations, SU landed one 5 star last year in Anderson and lost their best recruiter in Petro a month and half before the recruiting season opened. The 2022 class was an outlier, SU isn't gonna recruit like that regularly until they get back to the post-season and make a deep run. Gotta give the staff more then 12 days before we can make a determination on where we are at.
The timing of these posts, two minutes apart, is priceless.
