Recruiting Updates

I don't play the IF game.
Your posts are chock full of "if" scenarios.

You don't just play the "if" game, you're the starting PG at the "if" all-star game

Thanks for all the responses, I'm basketball only. I used to be a cuse football fan as well, but a good friend from home turned them down and played for Rutgers instead. I paid all of my college football attention to them until he graduated and haven't paid any attention to college football since.
Yeah, Rutgers will do that to you... regardless of what sport it is.

That was back when they turned the corner and were pretty good. Although at the time he committed they were terrible, it ended up being a good decision for him but at the time it hurt a little that he didn't go to Cuse, he grew up rooting for them.

I defer to the experts but IMHO has to be Duval. From the video I've seen he appears to be a potential difference maker.

WRT 2016 I'm intrigued by Howard Washington but remain on the fence - not suggesting he's elite, but I suspect he'd going to better on this level than the rankings indicate. He has good size and is... well, "slippery" for lack of a better term. Has a knack for doing things on the offensive end and in college his height / length will pose difficulties for defenders. I don't see him as explosive enough to be a NBA commodity, but who knows... (Again, I defer to the experts here.)

To see if Sir Alterique is the real deal and not mixtape flash hype. His game against the NJ Playaz(defending EYBL Peach Jam champs) that includes Malachi's buddy Myles Powell and Temple Gibbs, will be live streamed tonight a 9:30 on court 1 in the link above. Gilbert is #0 and his teammate Harry Giles is #1. For those that remember GW 5'3 PG Shawnta Rogers in the mid-late 90's, well his son who is barely 5ft tall is the leading scorer on that squad so far and is a real treat to watch lol.

VJ King or Harry Giles? Maybe?

First impressions of Gilbert. Real good ball handler with a killer crossover and first step. Sees the floor well and isn't afraid to drive inside and be aggressive. On the flip side, he would be a waste defensively in the zone due to his lack of size. Struggled repeatedly to finish inside around bigger bodies. Didn't see much of a perimeter shot, so I couldn't judge how well his range was but he did hit all of his free throws(8-8). I'll watch more of him as time goes along, but it's clear he's a tier below Battle and Simmons.

Believe it or not it wasn't Gilbert or Giles who gave the team a big lift tonight, it was Shawnta's kid who has to be the smallest person ever that I've seen done well against this level of competition.
He's definitely not 5'3 and I'm not even sure he's 5ft but heck he's good.
