Report from SU Hoops Boys Club Dinner Last Night

Thanks, Tom. You just made my day. How extremely fortunate that you got Baye at your table. He is incredible in many, many ways. I expect that his post-basketball career will be something special.

Truly believe we are in for a great, great year if Ennis stays healthy. I think in terms of versatility and depth, this team might be better than last year's team.

We have all the pieces to make another run at a national title, and the Canadian trip is going to help a lot more than people think.

Don't know what Keita's plans are after college. Maybe he would like to make some money playing overseas. But either upon graduation or sometime down the line, surely there is a place for him with SU (either within or outside the AD) as some type of ambassador to the community.

I think I know a local company that might need an IT trainee in a few years after the basketball for pay thing ends.

I actually attended the event last year. It was a nice time, and recommend going if you have a chance. I remember Baye was very sociable that night also. CJ, Brandon, James, Baye, and Dejaun got most of the attention from people that night. MCW, Trevor and Rak weren't there for some reason. I remember wondering if there was anyone from this board there, or if there were any other fans as knowledgeable. But I remember Jerami being virtually ignored by the fans in attendance, so I figured there weren't any. I betcha Jerami had plenty of attention last night

Having Baye as a senior leader is a tremendous benefit for the team. Example of four year guy that has shown nothing but class, and an unstoppable work ethic. Gone really miss this guy next year.

Hopefully Baye will have a very Kueth-like senior year this season. :) Sudan and Senegal have been very good to Syracuse and we have Chinonso Obokoh of Nigeria in the wings.

Tom. Thank you for again providing a report that helps those of us who are not able to attend feel like we were there with you. You have a unique ability to draw us in with personal observations and stories of not just the events but the real people like BMK who we would otherwise not have the opportunity to get to know.
