As anemic as our offense has been with Collins, Rickie is averaging more passing yards per game than PSU is year to date. By a lot.

Rickie is also averaging more passing TD per game than PSU is year to date. By a little.

On Orange Nation Fran wouldn’t confirm Rickie is starting(reading between the lines he’s not). Confirmed he’s the not the only QB playing. Basically said Rickie had 4 games, we have 4 more, need to change it up and do whatever we can to win.

My opinion: RC was better in practice and not close to that same level in game situations. Often, practice is slower than game speed. Partially by design, partially by players holding back a little during the week to save the intensity for the game. Can this be directly measured,I have my doubts, just recalling when I played sports that was how it was.

Anyway, I wish RC well, I hope Carney kicks UNC's collective carcass to the awaiting buses without apology.

Would have liked to see Fran shake it up during the GT game, but that ship has sailed. Glad to see he's going to mix it up against UNC.

Rickie has started 2 home games. He has thrown a pick on the first drive of both games. Big players make big plays in big games.

I hope we only see Rickie if the other QB is having a rough go. It would be infuriating if Luke or Joe are moving the ball and they just insert Rickie because "reasons".

I also hope they give the new guy at least 3 series to get warmed up and don't look to pull him at the first sign of adversity. Would be horribly unfair, but it's possible especially the way Luke was handled vs Pitt.
