I'm not getting too emotionally invested in saturday. We are seriously depleted coming into this game. Would be a great win to get to a bowl, but we are one battered club right now.

Thompson got banged up pretty bad after an amazing side step pass rush. Too bad because in 1 play we saw his amazing potential, but then saw what could be his biggest deterrent, the ability to stay healthy

Reminds me a bit of the 2010 season. Got bowl eligible but the team got hurt at the end of the year, lost to UConn and BC at home. This time SU doesn't have the luxury of losing. IMO the program needs the bowl because of the extra practices. All the players need as many reps as possible in order to develop and improve.

As weird as this might sound, I look forward to see who steps up. Like rrlbees said, everyone has injuries this time of year. Time for a kid who gets beat out in practice to show what he's got in conference play. Not an ideal scenario by any means, but it is what it is. Might as well try and find a potential silver lining out of it.

Yeah, I was pulling for Ole Miss. Mostly because of our hopeful bowl game (don't care where, just somewhere at this point). Plus, like 110% of this country, I think The Grove >>>> Cowbells.
