I expect the wrath of hell to descend upon me from the Board by opening another Rutgers thread. But, I gotta say - it would be so much fun to have the 'Girls as the last game of the season.

BC is fine. An improvement over prior years. But i simply hate Buttgers. And I can't stand the Big 10. Have it at night so the bile truly is palpable between the fans all day on gameday.

Clemp has SC. GT has GA.

We need to play ugly little gnome-brother on the last day of the year. The build up would be hilarious. And we need to elbow them out of the way. And their governor is fat.

Who is this Buttgers of which you speak?

Playing 1 of Rutgers and Maryland every year is a-ok by me.

Not last game though, stick with the clowns.

Rutgers is our new clown IMO. BC's rivalry has clearly lost its vig.

Dumpster fire rages on.

Play them both. Add in an FCS type and a Tulane/MAC/MTN West opponent and we have the perfect schedule.

Since they never traveled well to the Dome I would think the best case for a series with Rutgers would be a neutral site game at Metlife like we did with Penn State this year. I don't hate Rutgers at all their fanbase is annoying because they think they are Penn State or something on the national scene when they are Webster's dictionary definition of what mediocre is. I wouldn't end the season with them they are a public State school and we are a private school not much history between the schools good bye Rutgers. When we consider Rutgers a rival I think it may be time to shut the football program down. Our season ender should be Boston College or Miami and since we are in the Atlantic then its BC. Miami would love to be the season ending game with Boston College or Syracuse because of their large Northeastern alumni base.

They would be a good future opponent given their new league, relatively close in proximity, and a natural hatred by the fan base.

Problem would be tht people would view them as an easy win, which they would not be.

Before I get drilled with RU trolls BC who is our season ending game for the foreseeable future won more impressive games from 2005 to 2007 than Rutgers has in its history and those are the Golden years of RU football. Just say no.

WHAT?!? I assume this is a joke, right?

I meant this game shouldn't be scheduled as a home/home series I could careless to see Rutgers in the Dome again. If the two teams wanted to play a 1 game series occasionally in Metlife then go ahead and schedule the game there as a 1 game series.

No need to play them again. As their conference schedule gets tougher, they won't give up the Howard's and Norfolk States either.

we traveled better right after a major snowstorm than they did in 50-60 degree weather for the pinstripe bowl

Just a wild guess, but I'm guessing you're under 25. Otherwise, no way you start this thread.

Brand wise, these two programs are on totally different planes.
