Scott Frost thread...

I really, really don't want a left coast guy who isn't familiar with the east coast. I think that the recruiting is just too different, and so is the style of play.

The "style of play" is EXACTLY what we want.
Good luck running a warm weather offense against @Pitt and @BC in December, and good luck out-Florida-ing FSU and Clemson.

Thankfully Coyle is not taking any advice from this board. I'll bet the frequent names mentioned here will not even be interviewed. (in some cases because there looking at Miami , LSU, or other more attractive/better paying jobs

I'll take my chances. Traditional Northeastern offense has planted us firmly at the bottom of the college football world. I don't know how much more people need to see before they understand that.

Time to do what works.

not caring about scheme and caring about jv coaches is how you end up with king meathead steve addazio spraying everyone with bologna smelling slobber in 6-3 games

We play 2 games every other year in possible cold weather. That's 2 out of 24.

22 in a controlled environment or in warm weather.

(How'd I do Millhouse?)

Right. What kind of recruits do we get? I'll give you a hint: I have yet to see a high school with a dome.

We tried running a left coast offense. Look up GRob and see how that went.

No way, the smart thing to do is to waste your advantage so you maybe have a slightly better offense when you.don't have that advantage.

Wha?

There might be one outdoor game every other year in bad the North.

You want to design your program around ONE road game every other year?

Good grief.
you might play those games in september and october too.

Actually, switching to a wet coast offense knocked us to the bottom of the football world. Before that we were in a position where we could get upset over being .500.

Yeah, because what GRob ran is exactly the same as what the top offenses in college football do today.

The BC game is fixed.

Odd's are the Pitt game won't be on the road the second or third week in Nov.
