Foolish is a strong word. There is always insight into whatever it is you find irritating. What you find irritating is like a window into your own soul. For the most part, you only criticize in other people what you do not like about your own character. Relax, people do not always post the way you like it.

Another "top 10" of the thread posts, IMO. I think AW3 would agree as well. We all could use that reminder sometimes. I saw someone quote your post and went a number of pages back to find it, which undoubtedly will contribute to my total number of posts, once they are approved.

On that note, he actually was correct about the large number of foolish posts, just incorrect what they were about. ;)

Upon looking at my replies so far, it's starting to occur to me that a decent percentage of the posts in here arent directly about AW3, if at all. I dont mind so much, but for those who do, cut me some slack, I'm working with what I'm given!

To avoid feeling like a ballhog, someone may have to convince me to stop being away in Belize so often. The internet there can be as bad as some people on here try to claim Florida's is. Or is that just a joke and similar that game "Germany or Florida" on Loveline?

Mind you, I picked a slow day when syracusefan members are busy not working(What/lol) causing the board to be slow, to entertainingly point out how off topic much of this is. Meanwhile I had long ago posted an on topic thread in the correct forum, about playing time, which was passed over to post off topic here instead. Do you feel me?

Of course my original intent wasnt such. It's just that many of the more entertaining posts in here weren't exactly salient. I think AW3 would support me, much like some folks think God supports their antics.

By far the best "meme" with that baby is "Internet, serious business", which I think would fit well here. Dont use the kid's image in vain!

Wouldn't it be funny if that was one of AW3's sticking points about going somewhere? I mean he did coax a teammate at Nebraska into surrendering the number. What if Belbey realizes this is his one opportunity to be relevant, and won't capitulate until some of his demands are met? What if the stalemate nudges White to somewhere with an open 3?

Or if Battle already has secured the jersey, what if he doesn't wish to relinquish? Not all of us can remember what it's like to be newly post-adolescents in short pants.

Moyer is wearing 3; Battle 25.

[Andrew] White Room

I'll wait in this place where the sun never shines;
Wait in this place where the shadows run from themselves [while they wait for a commitment]

Awesome song. Those lines remind me not just of this place, but my head sometimes, and casinos. Binions, specifically.

I hope this isnt a harbinger that AW3 has a gambling problem, unless for some reason he perceives Syracuse as a gamble.

Right on, that's great news! Moyer seems like the consumate team first type of fellow, and the perfect person to have the number(well, other than maybe Belbey) if it needs to be ransomed.

Magical fairy land where a guy who has played mostly guard in his career, considers himself a guard, and transfers to a school known for big guards... plays guard??? In the end it's up to JB... but this attitude that anyone who disagrees on where a transfer who's never once played for this team might play has obviously never watched a basketball game is absurd. You want to make a case for why you believe what you believe great... lose the high horse.

Right on, that made me smile. About your SN, you're not normal, in this thread at least. Hopefully you can see that that can be a good thing!

I don't claim to know where White will get his minutes next year, and frankly it's all conjecture. JB himself may not know at this point(assuming White had even signed), and even if he did, he occasionally changes his mind during the season.

you're quite the binge-and-purge poster, huh?

Indeed! Although in that allegory it's completely by choice, and in mine, it's only partly. It's like calling someone a binge and purge breather after someone stops holding their head beneath the water, if that helps make more sense. I've only got 12 more pages to go! ;)

By the time I'm caught up, the gentry will be likely to run me out of town, lol. I mean Ive already achieved the worst insult of not beeing teed by tee! IMO, that's worse than a ***, no?

Here's the meat and potatoes of what we have to go on:

Several Pursuing Grad Transfer Andrew White

Note from the lack of likes for your post(2 total), meat and potatoes are not that popular here because they aren't as fun. If you want more likes, try arguing and looking smarter than others. It seems to be a proven formula, lol. It's not that I think these mountains of conjecture are without any merit at all, but I don't particularly dig it when the authors assume we should just accept their words as gospel. Thanks for the link.

Uh oh. The plot thickens. Now I won't sleep tonight. Thanks.

McAllisters' actual post on the message board said " I heard that White will take another visit before deciding. White does not know which school and when though."

When another poster suggested he should recheck his source Mike replied, " I heard it from White himself".

That would seem to be a fairly reliable assessment of where things stand.

Thanks for the solid bit of info(again, note the lack of likes for meat and potatoes). What makes me curious is how MM got that answer, when the finest author at the PS/syracuse.com got a no comment when he asked him.

Yesterday people said this was a done deal.

Those people don't understand the importance of closing, like the GlenGarry Glen Ross video I like to show every so often, ephasizes(being the thread I posted it in didnt get much traffic, may as well post it in the board's default thread, lol). The people making these claims are certainly not closers!

The first 15 seconds says about all one needs to hear, and reminds me of all the jibber jabber in here.

Hopefully we have closed, and are just waiting on the announcement.

Its not the end of the world if we don't get him, but when three reputable posters say its a done deal, you get your hopes up, so hopefully it happens soon.

I agree. I try not to let my hopes get up though, and after Jake's deadline passed a decent while ago, I started to wonder if it would be a Taurean Thompsonesque wait once again. I enjoy Dave's comical reminders that Mr White has a shorter deadline than TT. BTW. did anyone in the TT thread reply to "its day xxx" with "and Georgetown still sucks"?
