I'm not sure I can properly illustrate how little anyone in Atlanta cares about Georgia Tech.
Actually, baseball as never been in better shape. Just read this week in Forbes that the average MLB franchise rose 19 percent in the last year. That's $1.54B on average. And right now, baseball might have more terrific young players than any single moment in it history. But other than that, they've got nothing going on. Sport might dry up by the end of the decade.Baseball is just losing support in general. Younger generations aren't into it and they have no star power.

Attendance is probably fine because it's a cheap event to go to and the sport has become regional. Not true.
With the 2016 Major League Baseball regular season in the books, the league reported total paid attendance of 73,159,044 or an average of 30,059 per game across 2,425 dates.
The 2016 MLB regular season marked the 11th highest-attended in the history of the league. The last 13 years (from 2004-2016) comprise each of the 13 best-attended seasons in baseball history, by total.
MLB Hits 73.159 Million In Attendance, 11th Highest All-Time, Down Slightly From 2015
The Braves have been averaging about 2 and 1/2 million a year in recent years. Not bad, but not as good as their 3 and 1/2 million attendance years a while back.
Your last sentence is unnecessary. Never said that. I'm sure it's in fine shape but if you could buy stock in 2 out of 3 (MLB, NFL, NBA) is the MLB one you'd buy?Actually, baseball as never been in better shape. Baseball is a cheap event? Where? Baseball teams have NEVER done better. The $$ is flowing in to the teams and the players.Attendance is probably fine because it's a cheap event to go to and the sport has become regional.
I guess I should clarify.. I'm comparing MLB to the NFL, NBA, CFB and CBB.Baseball is a cheap event? Where? Baseball teams have NEVER done better. The $$ is flowing in to the teams and the players.
MLB is the clear #2 sport in America. Its not even close.Your last sentence is unnecessary. Never said that. I'm sure it's in fine shape but if you could buy stock in 2 out of 3 (MLB, NFL, NBA) is the MLB one you'd buy?

I've bought tickets to a ton of basketball and football events and they were all more expensive than the tickets I bought to last nights Braves game. Home opener at that.
Really nice - I'm not blown away and the old stadium was really nice as well but it's in a better location to draw people from the North Metro suburbs. What is the new stadium like?
Uh what? Does this mean Allen is leaving? I assume Duke would start Jackson/Allen/Trent together even though Trent is more of a SG. If they're trying to talk to Tucker that must mean Allen is gonna declare? My Duke buddy said Duke called Tucker last night

Interesting, if true ... at least I wouldn't feel quite so lousy as I would if we lost out to G Tech or Oregon ... ah, who am I kidding? I'd probably be even more PO'd!My Duke buddy said Duke called Tucker last night
how would Tucker be related to Knox, recruitment wise?He said its related to Knox
Ok then we can blame Hop for thisHe said its related to Knox
Knox goes to Mizzou, Tucker is Plan B...how would Tucker be related to Knox, recruitment wise?
Duke was probably gonna start Wendell Carter and Bolden together anyways. Knox would probably be the first dude off the bench. They don't get Knox - Tucker fills that role of 6th manhow would Tucker be related to Knox, recruitment wise?
Now why you gotta go and ruin our night with this...about knox or not, a call from duke to Tucker just plain sucks!
