GMAC, like Autry, needs to cook for a decade
they are not winning the MAACVery bad loss for Siena.
Maybe you’ll eventually come around to reality. It took me a while to come to my senses with regard to Hopkins.Bad loss to be sure but recently lost by 4 to the conference leader.
So let’s not start playing the violins yet.
And I do see GMAC as our coach one day, probably ten years from now.

80 NET vs. 289 NET? Not quite.Kind of like losing to Hofstra at home lol
I think you are missing the point. Syracuse cannot and should not lose to Hofstra. I don't care about NET lol80 NET vs. 289 NET? Not quite.
My point is that Hofstra and Sacred Heart aren't comparable lolI think you are missing the point. Syracuse cannot and should not lose to Hofstra. I don't care about NET lol
I've hesitated posting about this game, but like most of them, I was in attendance. It didn't matter what defense Siena played, Sacred Heart was kicking their butt. When Siena played man, which they opened with, SH just got to their spots first for lots of open looks. When Siena went 2-3, SH either shot over a relatively soft perimeter, or they went right to the seam for easy turnarounds. Siena played pretty soft on defense.Between their bottom of the country 3 pt shooting and now some major cracks in the defense ( gave up 15 3s on 35 attempts to SHU) there are some bad trends forming. Siena shot 32 pct from 3 as a team last year.

Siena not having their starting center, Tasman Goodrich, out for the past six games hasn't helped in which Siena is 2-4. Also not having Reid Ducharme at all this season hasn't helped at all.
On offense, it's really only Doty and Folefac that GMac can depend on. The rest of the team has been inconsistent or not playing up to expectations like Coyle.
So, for now, it's s a lot of win one, lose one. Hopefully they get the two guys back and go on a little run.
I know the've struggled with injuries, did they get anyone back or is the depth starting to develop?Nice win for Siena this afternoon 85-77 at home vs. Fairfield. Gavin Doty had 24 points on 9 for 9 from the field, a new Siena record (best two prior 8 for 8 games in years past). Interesting Siena is 8-0 in day games but only 5-7 in night games. Siena played great for the first 30 minutes building a 17 point lead. But too many mistakes in the last 10 minutes and in the post-game TV interview, unlike certain other head coaches, GMac didn't make any bones about his unhappiness with those mistakes and that he'd let the team hear about it in the locker room.
Gerry has the team playing well for the last two games. I guess he wants them being successful just in case he gets a phone call after the season to move 2 hours west. [I kid. I kid]
I don't think they got anyone back yet. 2 things though -- Siena shot very well. 75% in the first half. 64.7% for the game. And he played Mulvey and Folifac out there at the same time. 2 big men. especially in the first half.I know the've struggled with injuries, did they get anyone back or is the depth starting to develop?
No one back yet. If you look at the box score, Gerry only played seven. Fortunately, Riley Mulvey has started making an impact at back up center and Gerry had rewarded him the last couple games with more playing time.I know the've struggled with injuries, did they get anyone back or is the depth starting to develop?
Yes, having Folefac out there has helped out Mulvey. But, if you look at the +/-, it hasn't moved the needle for either one. Nothing particular has stood out while they are both in there. I think Gerry still has to figure that out.I don't think they got anyone back yet. 2 things though -- Siena shot very well. 75% in the first half. 64.7% for the game.
