100% agree with everything you said. The pieces are there but I’m starting to get concerned over Red’s coaching. The offense and defense are just so elementary. I get Dino vibes watching him coach. Mistakes are tolerated without consequences. It’s just so much like Dino’s lack of discipline. I think we’re going to coach Fran and the guy I see is Jason Hart.

Love everything else about Red and I’m rooting like hell that he can succeed. But three years no tournament and he’s out. JB said it past interviews when he first started at SU he was hoping he’d get three years. In my opinion red gets the same three years but no tournament and he’s out

I feel like BC Basketball right now but worse because it feels like we have some talent that's not coached up at all.

I would cut bait immediately if we don't make the tournament this year. 2 years with professionals if there's zero coaching going on. I don't care about the recruits either. They are one year contracts essentially. I want to see someone with rotational sense and a sense of how to gameplan a game.

Red being given this job was absolutely preposterous without any prior experience. We aren't UNC or Duke. And i'm dubious about them sustaining anything either if their coaches can't coach.

Losing a year is a losing another year of relevance in college basketball. Georgetown is completely irrelevant now. I feel like we're dipping our toes in that pond if we continue down a path of "hey he's got another year to figure out how to coach". I feel like you kinda have it or you don't .

With Kiyan Anthony and another McDonald's AA coming next fall, Red's not going anywhere. Melo will likely help enough with NIL to make sure his son is surrounded by elite talent next year.

All I want to see in December is wins. They play 8 games between now and the first of the year. I'd like to see them win all 8. If not, then win 7. If not, then win 6.

How they get there isn't a concern. I'm not favoring certain player outcomes, or looking for specific style points. Just win every game.

But we're a Power 4 team with an incredible history and high expectations that are shared by the staff. I suspect their goal isn't to show progress and stay within 10 of Tennessee. It's to win.

Not to knock the poster… but how many years are we going to relitigate Autry getting hired? It happened… he got hired and he’s the coach. I fully support debating how much longer he is the coach however.

He’s an okay recruiter, but I’m seeing a lot of paper thin game plans… there doesn’t seem to be much sophistication or a plan B when plan A isn’t working. That needs to change or we need to get MUCH better players so that the talent alone wins.
