So What Have We Learned from the MCW Incident?

I'm with you...I know how you feel.
This incident - and even more so the way the coach has handled it - has really put a damper on my enthusiasm.

I'm embarrassed by the way it's been handled.
And I'm embarrassed that I'm still a fan who will have to live with his bit of hypocrisy.

It will be hard to cheer for MCW.
And impossible to cheer for Jim Boeheim.

I'm disappointed with how the incident has been handled by all concerned, but not at all surprised. I'm disappointed with how this story was covered by the media (new and old), but not surprised.

But I'm a long way from being embarrassed about being a fan of this program or anyone associated with it. It's 2012 and I'm not expecting to stumble across a college basketball utopia any time soon.
