SPD tells DA to go to hell

it isn't good or bad for bernie but does show what assclowns the d.a. and the police are. So much for team work for the public good.

The mayor and Fitzy need to be locked in a smoke-filled room until they find some common ground.

Why would the Police not cooperate with the DA?
I think they feel they have done enough, and Fitzy wants to make a name for himself. From what I am hearing.

If Davis was lying, now would be a good time for him to start crapping his pants. This is so far beyond anything he could have intended...

This ugliness will not be good for Bernie. It sounds like a band of competing wannabe hangmen. They are all fighting to look like "heroes" in this.
bingo

They may want to get their act together or risk major legal action from all involved.

This is what you get when insist on electing members of the court. Politics and the law never mix well.

Bees, you were more right than you think with your headline:

MattMulcahy Matt Mulcahy

The server of the District Attorneys subpoena was greeted by profanity at the Syracuse Police Chief's office. #BernieFineinvestigation.

these 2 groups have had pissing contests before. i believe the spd is always mad that they can't do their investigation without interference and that the da office always tries to "manage" their investigation. they don't trust each other.

I wish the chief would clear the air, and tell why?

But another post here suggests that the US Attorney's office may be getting involved. As I said, when you have two or three agencies competing for headlines and "glory," it is never good for the person/company involved.

I don't know how long the SPD keeps records but over the past 10 years record keeping at most businesses has fallen on hard times and generally aren't kept for more than 3-4 years. Probably the local police departments keep records longer though? But reading the article, it sounded more like the DA wanted to know what was going on during this investigation, 2002-Present. More specifically, what have you learned this week.

Hopefully its because they don't have anything ... nothing he can prosecute anyway. Anyone think the DA is getting heat from BF's lawyer? You would think BF's lawyer would want to know what exactly he's being investigated for.

yea, i posted that article. i would expect it is because of the potential that a minor may have been taken across state lines and a crime was committed. but yes, the more involved the more concerning it has to be for the accused.
