I’m just glad we won. Finals week, 9:00 start, no fans or atmosphere in the building. It all totaled up for a listless game. Let’s get ready for Hofstra. The guys know they didn’t play well tonight.

Zephyr came into the game because our guards were getting torched on defense. People keep complaining that Red needs to hold guys accountable or sit. That’s why he played. You can’t have it both ways.

Youre right but the bench has gotta be awake too. Usually there's some energy there but they looked like a mess too. Maybe the late game. I should start betting the unders on 9PM games.

Iowa state over Iowa 66-62 at home tonight for their late game. They slaughtered #1 Purdue there then came home and barely won. It's college hoops any given day. Just gotta keep stacking wins.

You know who my favorite New York NET was as a kid? Dr J. That man could put that red, white and blue ball through the NET!

Blah game, flat after a long layoff, announced crowd under 13K, late start. This team is going to play ugly all year with the way they rebound, shoot FTs and play half court offense. Let’s hope they have some ugly Quad 1 wins in them to help their NET!

No crowd - but also no real snowstorm - and the way the guys played, it was hard for the crowd to get into it. But my daughter and I brought the sparkle and the spirit and we spread joy wherever we went.

Two best things were Kyle’s free throw shooting to go along with defense and Betsy coming off bench to provide first half spark.

And Kingz had another solid game

Otherwise not much to really celebrate.

Don't know how the season will play out.

HowEVER, we've gone from being a sieve on defense to being one of the best defensive teams in the country.

Is that by accident? Or is it possible, just POSSIBLE, that the coach drilled that into the team every day at practice?

With probably our best offensive player out, we're finding ways to win. Autry deserves no props for that?

There are some games your just happy to get out with a win. NET doesn’t matter if you lose all the games.

Edit: I don’t want it to be forgotten just how good Betsey has been so far. He has a knack for hitting big 3s. Him and Will Kyle’s constant effort has been the brightest spots for me this year. Also excited to see Kingz find his shot.

We need more/better passing. We clearly aren’t a movement offense but that doesn’t mean our leading assist man should have 3 assists.

Yes, I am not sure why people are so disappointed. I only watched the condensed game but I was impressed by St. Joe's. I thought I saw a number of very good athletes who weren't intimidated, who played unselfishly, and who exhibited good basketball IQ.

What isn’t an issue besides bruising defense? Mind you they can’t rebound the misses anyway so it renders the bruising defense’s effects

I fell asleep at 8:30. No level 5 energy for me either. 9pm games are no good for me.

Seeing only eight turnovers surprised me when I am pretty sure we had 2 or 3 back to back on trips down the court in the second half. That’s when it felt like the team was sleepwalking to me.

Our defense really frustrated St Joes. They’re not a great offense, averaging 70-ish points a game, but we held them to 63 points on a night when we looked less than average as a team. Pretty good.

I felt like this game was never out of hand so I’m not so nuts about Reds substituting as some here. He’s shown in big games that he runs a shorter bench. Need to give those other kids some run in games as well

I really like Soure's new hairstyle. Looks so much better. Unfortunately it did not translate to his game. He is still awful as ever.
