Worked brilliantly today. Our half court offense might not be much but we have 3 guys that can beat their defender with the dribble. Nice luxury to go into the second half with this offense if ahead and have the press if behind.

Hope it sticks! LGO!

Difference is we spread the floor, waited till end of shotclock, and then gave it to one of our seniors - Scoop or Joseph who DROVE to the basket. No stupid 3 point attempts that get rebounded and lead to a fast 2 points the other way.

Hopefully this wasn't some lucky occurrence and we do this from now on. We had an incredibly frustrating stall ball for years so I'm hesitant to praise it until we see it run this good a few more times.

Chris, CJ, Waiters, Scoop, Triche = 5, and MCW makes 6.

Could South drive to the hoop if not for lack of confidence? Although that would mean that he would have to bend his back which seems to be against his religion. I would love to see him put all the pieces together by his senior year. If he could he will have an NBA paycheck. Today was a big step for him, scoring in a hostile environment. Could he ever become an NBA shooting guard as a late bloomer?

I love JS and think the definitely has the athletic ability, and his handle seems to be getting better, as is his confidence. It'd be great for him to put together a more complete game for his Sr year.

Agreed. For one night, we stalled for almost four minutes and most of our shots fell. That was fortunate. If it happens ten more times this year, I'll be willing to call it a trend.

Great point. You know you're running it correctly when the lead increases while you're implementing it

Normally Trice has the ball in his hands in situations where the opposition forced to foul because he's our most reliable free throw shooter. It looked like he was at the scorer's table at the end of the game but there was never a substitution opportunity. The aforementioned thumb injury may have been a factor in JB holding him out.

No, it is run correctly when you have the lead when there are zero's on the clock.

Correct! Stall Ball kills point speads but wins games. It's not about scoring it's about shortening the game and killing the clock. What you don't want is TOs
