Alford had to turn back and catch the ball over the db. That catch is on Alford.Watch the Virginia Tech game where he hits Alford on a dime for a game winning TD and tell me he can’t throw.

I have warm memories of that Crane Thread. At this rate this thread may surpass the Crane thread if we don’t hurry and make an announcement, lol
The Chris Ash thread was 650 posts in 3 days. We have a lot of catching up to do.
Yeah, but that whole thread was a complete Ash hole.Despite the number of posts, there was complete unanimity. That's almost statistically impossible.
The ability to do something only occasionally, when trying to do it every time, makes the successful outcome more likely to be accidental.Watch the Virginia Tech game where he hits Alford on a dime for a game winning TD and tell me he can’t throw.
No it wasn't!! He was still in stride and looked back for the ball. Not like he had to break his sprint. Sure, it wasn't a "dime" but still a pretty nice throw considering GS got drilled.Alford had to turn back and catch the ball over the db. That catch is on Alford.
Taj was one of the main culprits dropping the ball. This is why his behavior was unacceptable at the end of 2020.If he had WR’s that consistently helped him, like Dungey had, it would make a difference. 3-4 catches instead of drops a game makes a difference. There were a couple of games where he threw catchable TD passes that were dropped.
Our WR hands and blocking left a lot to be desired this year after Taj opted out.
I thought our wide receiver blocking was actually better than we’ve seen in a while. Drops were definitely a problem.Taj was one of the main culprits dropping the ball. This is why his behavior was unacceptable at the end of 2020.
She’s smart - not following the syr.com folks
Kudos. Fantastic job!
Just to follow up, she's also following:She also seems to be a big fan of Anae.
And that concludes my twitter stalking for today.
I wonder what the threads on the Tennessee boards looked like when they were poised to hire Schiano.I only made is to post 65 before I was banned for 4-5 days. Seems like a different lifetime.

He hit him in stride while getting crushed. He had to catch it over the DB because that’s where he was on the field. It was a great play by Alford but the ball was exactly where it needed to be while having a DL crushing him.Alford had to turn back and catch the ball over the db. That catch is on Alford.
It was a heck of a lot closer to a dime than being “all on Altord”.No it wasn't!! He was still in stride and looked back for the ball. Not like he had to break his sprint. Sure, it wasn't a "dime" but still a pretty nice throw considering GS got drilled.
To add to what others where saying GS was a step away from getting destroyed by the LB but still make a pass in stride where all the WR had to do was high point it over the DBs headAlford had to turn back and catch the ball over the db. That catch is on Alford.
