Is it really? They had a banged up QB last year on the road on a Friday night. We gave up 42 to WMU and Clemson’s athletes can exploit those same issues. It’s a revenge game for them but I am glad it’s a noon start. That being said, a final score like 55-27 wouldn’t be shocking to me. I wouldn’t touch this game from a betting perspective, though.

Yeah, I'm going to disagree. We're a markedly better team this year that has played one bad quarter of football in five games. The only team with a truly competent passing game lit up their secondary and nearly won. Also, I'm not buying that Trevor Lawrence is the next coming of Johnny Unitas after 4 games of whom Texas A&M is the star.

I'm not saying we're going to win. I'm not even saying that it'll be close. I am saying that the betting line this year shouldn't be a whole point higher than last year.

They have the defensive line and overall defense to force a lot of quick drives and 3 and outs. We play quickly. This allows teams to put points on us if they’re in rhythm. I don’t think it’s that completely out of the question that they score 50+.

I will be very surprised if we keep them under 45. I can see them breaking into the 50s.

We play fast (meaning plenty of possessions for Clemson's O), their D can force turnovers and our D could easily get warn down in the heat. We're stepping up in class here. There is no doubt about it. I'd love to be wrong but I fear you could be eating a car payment here in the not too distant future.

cannot believe the level of disrespect for Syracuse. Yeah I know gotta earn it, we sucked for nearly 2 decades but the casual disregard for the game this weekend is off the charts. On the sirius college channel they just casually stated that it wont matter that bryant is gone until the playoff because no one is essentially good enough to challenge them at least until the playoff when they'll get their first test.

Man I hope the team feeds off this stuff. The planets are aligning for the potential for something special to happen this weekend.

You can understand the disrespect to a fair degree. Our four opponents haven't exactly distinguished themselves so far this season. Of course none of that will matter if we go out and earn the respect on Saturday.
